Our New Place

Pictures of our new place. I will try to take you on a tour of our new home.
As you walk through the door, to the left is the door to our 1 car garage and then you go directly upstairs. I have a picture looking down at the front door.















The next picture is looking down, the stairs take a turn to the left and then directly into the dining room. This is another picture looking down.














As you come up the stairs you see the dining room, living room and kitchen. We don't have a whole lot yet so the walls are bare but I'm slowly getting some pictures on the wall.

Now I'll turn around so you can see from the other side...oh look, it's Josh.

















From the dining room you can see my bedroom door so we'll go there next.














Pretty empty, I couldn't get my dresser up the staircase so I need to get a new one.

The next picture is my bathroom, a look into...behind the door is the walk in closet and next to that is the toilet. I love the tub so I took a picture of that too.


















































On the other side of the living room is where the laundry room, second bathroom and Josh's room are. Josh's room is not clean but I told him I was taking a picture so I don't think he cares.

Christmas in Ohio

There was no snow in Ohio.
Josh wanted to have a white Christmas and I wanted to see Caleb and Alicia so we traveled to Ohio. There was no snow, in fact the weather was very nice and we got to be together as a family except for Kevin whose serving a mission.
We only had one night of ice which turned out to be a bit scary. The Collin's family have a very steep driveway and one night I went out in the frozen rain to pick up Matt and Josh. I thought I could make my way up the driveway but didn't make it, in fact, I slid into a group of trees. The side mirror didn't make it and I will need to have that fixed but I'm safe and I will not try that again.

Christmas Eve was exciting...we joined the Collins family to their annual dinner and our son (the newest member of their family) was selected to play Santa.



Josh was a bit surprised when he first saw him but then got into the fun.










We even seen Santa give Alicia a kiss.

We talked to Kevin on the phone Christmas Day and everyone got to say hi. We had a memorable Christmas and made some great memories.

Josh at our new place...yes, we still have to do homework but sometimes we take breaks to just be silly.

Planner

I am a new Planner for the City of St. Cloud. I'm so excited and can't wait to start learning a new job. This is a picture of me on my second week as a Planner and the first Planning Board I attended as a Planner.
I'm sure I'll have a lot to share once I get going.

Moving

I'm moving to Harmony Florida. I will be moving December 1st just in time to be settled for Christmas and the New Year. I don't have a picture of my condo yet but here is a beautiful picture of the Harmony community.

Take a look at this beautiful community, it's only 10 miles from my job in St. Cloud so it's close but still an out of town feel. See my floor plans, you will see the front view of the villa, my villa has a side entrance and on the floor plans it is shown in green. I have a 1 car garage and 2 large bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. I absolutely love it and the community.

Who we are!

We are the Orton Family from Florida!

Caleb is our oldest son and is married to Alicia. Currently they are both attending BYU-Idaho in Rexburg Idaho. They were married August 8, 2008 in Columbus Ohio. Check them out at their own blog.

Kevin is next in line, he is currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Provo Utah Mission, Spanish speaking. Right now Elder Orton is in Cedar City Utah.

Matthew is number three and graduated from St. Cloud High School this year and is currently preparing to become a missionary for our church. He will be submitting his papers soon so we are excited to see where he will be going.

Joshua is the baby, well...he's 12 but he's my baby. He is in the 7th grade at St. Cloud Middle School.

I'm the mom, Michelle and I have 4 very handsome sons and 1 beautiful daughter-in-law. I'm proud of all of them and all they accomplish. I'm so blessed to have them in my life.
